Mechanical Site Supervisor

Location: Westport

Project: Pharma, permanent long term opportunity

As Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for the engineering activities on a Pharma project in Westport.  You will co-ordinate the technical design with the onsite installation through to the successful commissioning.

Job responsibilities:

• Ensure workplace safety, systems, practices, and culture.
• Supervise work package delivery.
• Maintain daily site activity logs.
• Coordinate with trades and sub-contractors for smooth operations.
• Manage site staff and assign tasks.
• Attend site meetings.
• Provide technical support to trade teams.
• Ensure work areas are cleared and ready for handover.

You will need:

• Senior trade qualification with 5+ years’ site experience in pharma, medical, commercial, industrial, or data centers.
• Strong knowledge of site planning and coordination.
• Familiar with Mechanical, HVAC, Building Services, Utilities, and Process Piping.
• Skilled in interpreting schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience in materials ordering and managing lead times.
