Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage on-site activities across various civil engineering works related to water and wastewater infrastructure.

Administer and manage construction contracts in compliance with relevant specifications and standards.

Supervise the inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of reservoirs to mitigate risks of microbiological, chemical, or physical contamination.

Support the implementation of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) improvements across multiple project sites.

Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, local authorities, and stakeholders.

Track project progress, assess contractor claims, and monitor budgets and schedules.

Maintain accurate site records and prepare clear, concise reports.

Review and assess contractor submissions, including as-built documentation and maintenance manuals.

Requirements

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent professional qualification).

A minimum of 7 years' post-graduate experience, with at least 2 years in on-site supervision of capital infrastructure projects (preferably water/wastewater).

Proven experience in contract administration.

Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and coordination abilities.

Full, clean driving licence required.

Desirable Experience

Delivering projects in line with specifications, budgets, and timelines.

Maintaining quality assurance and overseeing technical testing requirements.

Evaluating contractor payment applications and claims.

Supporting project planning and programme tracking.

Preparing and reviewing technical documentation and design submissions
