Health & Safety Officer – South Dublin

Permanent position
Salary up to €70,000 DOE + bonus, pension and health insurance

An established and highly regarded residential developer is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to support safety delivery on a major new project in Shankill. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company known for delivering high-quality homes and thriving communities across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day management of health and safety on a large residential project

• Assist with site audits, risk assessments and inspections

• Identify hazards and help implement practical control measures

• Lead or support toolbox talks, briefings and site inductions

• Participate in incident investigations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

• Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors and senior stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a health and safety role within construction

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH or equivalent)

• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and best practices

• Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
