The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, our client — a well-established and respected PQS consultancy — is expanding their team and seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Galway City office.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing Irish consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering public sector projects, particularly within the healthcare and education sectors. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects including HSE facilities, schools, and third-level education developments.

You will work closely with senior leadership and project teams across all stages of project delivery. The role offers strong career progression, ongoing professional development, and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that contribute directly to public infrastructure.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience, ideally within a PQS / consultancy environment
• Experience working on public sector, healthcare, or education projects desirable
• Progress towards or membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. SCSI / RICS) is advantageous
