Lead Planner

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Planner to join a leading construction team delivering large-scale projects across Dublin.

Reporting to the Regional Planning Manager or Planning Manager, the successful candidate will lead project planning activities, ensuring programmes are developed, monitored and delivered in line with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage construction programmes across all project phases
  • Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation measures
  • Produce programme reports and planning updates for stakeholders
  • Coordinate with project managers, commercial teams, design teams and subcontractors
  • Support change management, resource planning and recovery planning
  • Mentor and support junior planners

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Construction, Engineering or related discipline
  • Strong experience in construction planning and scheduling
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience delivering complex construction projects
  • Experience integrating planning with BIM, cost and risk systems would be advantageous
