Design Coordinator

Location: Tullamore, Co. Offaly with site visits (Live projects include residential, schools, healthcare and pharma)

Salary: Up to €65,000 DOE

The Role

Reporting to the Design Manager, the Design Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate design activities between internal teams, consultants, and specialist subcontractors to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Support the Design Manager and Senior Project Team throughout all stages of project delivery.
• Assist with the implementation and management of project design plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintain design deliverable registers, trackers, and project documentation.
• Review design information for constructability and identify potential risks or issues.
• Monitor the flow of design information to ensure alignment with project programmes and procurement schedules.
• Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders to support successful project outcomes. 
• BCAR responsibilities

Requirements

• Third-level qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Design Coordinator or similar role within the construction industry.
• Previous residential project experience
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, BCAR and document control systems.
