Senior Engineer

Looking for your next Senior Engineering opportunity with an established civil engineering contractor in Dublin?

We’re looking for an experienced and technically capable Senior Engineer to join a civil engineering company in Dublin. You’ll play a key role within the project team, working closely with Site Management, subcontractors and the wider Engineering team to ensure the project is delivered safely, accurately and to programme.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who is ready to take ownership of technical delivery, coordinate engineering activities and contribute to the successful delivery of a significant civil engineering project. Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Site Management, subcontractors, suppliers and design teams to ensure works are planned and delivered safely and to programme.
• Manage setting out, surveying, inspections, RFIs and technical queries, resolving engineering issues as they arise.
• Assist with planning, sequencing and programming of works, including the ordering and scheduling of materials.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, as-built information and project records while providing technical support and guidance to the wider project team.

Requirements:

• A relevant third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.

• 4+ years’ experience in an engineering role, ideally within civil engineering, infrastructure or a commercial environment.
