Health & Safety Manager | Wicklow & South Dublin | Multi-Site

Up to €95k DOE | Company Car | 5% Pension | Private Health Insurance 

Our client, a well-established Irish main contractor delivering high-quality housing and education projects, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead their H&S function across multiple sites in Wicklow and South Dublin

Safety is one of the company's core values, with strong support from senior management and a clear commitment to maintaining high standards across all projects

This is a hands-on management role where you will lead the H&S function and Safety Advisors while also taking responsibility for Health & Safety on one of the company's active construction sites

The Role

• Lead and manage the Health & Safety function and Safety Advisors
• Act as the H&S Advisor on one active construction site
• Oversee H&S compliance across multiple projects
• Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments
• Advise Site and Project Managers on H&S matter.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
• Deliver toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and drive continuous improvement
• Work closely with senior management, Contracts Managers and site teams
• Support the continued growth and development of the H&S team

What You'll Need

• Relevant Health & Safety qualification
• 5+ years' experience in a construction H&S role
• Previous experience managing or mentoring H&S professionals
• Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and construction regulations
