Junior Digital Construction Coordinator – Wexford

A leading Tier 1 construction company is seeking a Junior Digital Construction Coordinator to join its growing digital construction team in Wexford.

The company has an established reputation for delivering landmark projects across Ireland, working with prestigious clients across a diverse range of sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career to gain hands-on experience across BIM coordination, digital information management and project delivery.

You will work closely with experienced BIM and project professionals, supporting the coordination and management of digital project information while developing your technical skills on live construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the management and coordination of project information.
• Support the Information Manager and BIM Team with day-to-day BIM activities.
• Work alongside Design Teams, Subcontractors and BIM Leads.
• Assist with model coordination and clash detection.
• Support clash detection and resolution meetings.
• Assist with model reviews, audits and quality checks.
• Help ensure project information is delivered in line with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Develop an understanding of ISO 19650 information management principles.
• Support the use of BIM and digital construction processes across projects.
• Attend project coordination meetings and site visits.
• Work with the wider Project Team to help ensure accurate and coordinated information is available when required.

About You

• A degree, diploma or relevant qualification in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, BIM, Digital Construction or a related discipline.
• Some experience or exposure to BIM or digital construction, through employment, placement, internship or college projects.
• Basic understanding of 3D modelling and BIM principles.
• Familiarity with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD or similar would be advantageous.
• An interest in developing your knowledge of BIM coordination and information management.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Organised and able to work towards project deadlines.
• A proactive attitude and genuine interest in developing a career within digital construction.
