Quantity Surveyor – Dublin 12

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established construction team based in Dublin 12.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for the financial and contractual management of construction projects, working closely with project teams, subcontractors and design teams to ensure successful commercial delivery.

Experience working on controlled environments, data centre or pharmaceutical projects would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contracts from project inception through to final account stage.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, costs and financial performance.
• Prepare and manage subcontractor budgets and preliminary costings.
• Review contracts and oversee subcontractor procurement.
• Prepare, submit and negotiate monthly valuations, ensuring timely payments.
• Manage variations, change orders and contractual claims.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and project documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams and design teams to identify and manage commercial risks.
• Ensure effective cost control and maximise commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction industry.
• Experience in controlled environments, data centres or pharmaceutical projects would be advantageous.
