Health and Safety Manager – Dublin 12
Salary up to €70K plus benefits package
One of Irelands most established fit-out companies is now recruiting an experienced Health and Safety Manager.
In this office based role, you will be a part of a team who specialise in shopfitting and commercial fit-out, providing design and technology solutions to clients in the retail, commercial and office sectors.
With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects across Ireland and a busy programme of works, this is an excellent opportunity to lead the Health and Safety function within a fast-growing company.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To monitor safety conditions and works with the project teams to ensure consistent enforcement of the internal safety management systems.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
- Complete weekly site inspections and monthly site audits.
- Develop and complete internal training.
- Support the project teams with regard to the day to day running of the EHS management system.
- Complete regular EHS meetings with subcontractors and the site team.
- Set Health and Safety KPIs, monitor performance and trends, and report to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with Irish legislation
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience working in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, 9001, 14001 & 45001- internal auditing.
- IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in shopfitting or live fit-out.
- Previous experience in leading an EHS team.
