Project HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) Advisor 

Location: Gormanston, Meath

In this role you will be joining an award-winning, ISO 45001:2018 accredited main contractor that is recognised as a leader in Health and Safety.

You will need:

• A third level qualification in Health and Safety.
• 3+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally gained within the construction industry.
• The ability to work on large-scale, high headcount construction sites.
• Understanding of quality and environmental management principles.
• Excellent communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To monitor safety conditions and works with the project teams to ensure consistent enforcement of the internal safety management systems.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Complete weekly site inspections and monthly site audits.
• Develop and complete internal training.
• Support the project teams with regard to the day to day running of the EHS management system.
• Complete regular EHS meetings with subcontractors and the site team.
• Set Health and Safety KPIs, monitor performance and trends, and report to senior management.
