Health & Safety Officer – Dublin City Centre

A leading developer is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to take ownership of all health and safety matters on a major project in Dublin City Centre. Key Responsibilities:

Manage on-site health and safety in line with company systems and statutory requirements

Identify hazards and ensure practical, effective control measures are in place

Conduct regular audits and inspections, addressing non-conformances promptly

Coordinate with site teams and contractors to maintain compliance

Lead toolbox talks and health and safety briefings

Support accident and incident investigations and drive continuous improvement
Key Requirements:

Minimum 4 years’ experience in a health and safety role within construction

Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH membership an advantage)

Strong working knowledge of Irish safety legislation and best practice

Ability to lead safety meetings and influence at all levels
