Health & Safety Officer – Dublin City Centre

• Salary up to €70,000 DOE + bonus, pension and health insurance

A leading developer is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to take ownership of all health and safety matters on a major project in Dublin City Centre. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage on-site health and safety in line with company systems and statutory requirements

• Identify hazards and ensure practical, effective control measures are in place

• Conduct regular audits and inspections, addressing non-conformances promptly

• Coordinate with site teams and contractors to maintain compliance

• Lead toolbox talks and health and safety briefings

• Support accident and incident investigations and drive continuous improvement

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a health and safety role within construction

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH membership an advantage)

• Strong working knowledge of Irish safety legislation and best practice

• Ability to lead safety meetings and influence at all levels
