Due to continued growth and turnover, one of Ireland’s Tier 1 Main Contractors is seeking a Technical BID Writer
This company have a broad portfolio of successfully completed projects across a range of sectors including Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical. Most of their workload comes from repeat business as they have a strong reputation for their competitive edge and reliable execution of projects undertaken.
Key responsibilities:

Lead the creation, coordination, and writing of compliant, well-structured PQQs and tenders for public and private clients.

Review client requirements, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure all submission elements are fully understood and addressed.

Work with bid, project management, and technical teams to gather accurate project information, case studies, and insights.

Adapt standard materials and produce compelling, client-focused responses that align with project-specific needs.

Manage submission quality, presentation, and deadlines, guaranteeing all documents meet client requirements and are delivered on time.
You will need:
- Previous Technical Writing experience in the construction industry

3–4 years’ technical bid writing experience in construction

Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, client-focused content.

Strong organisational and time-management abilities, capable of handling multiple submissions and meeting tight deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe tools (InDesign preferred) for producing high-quality, well-presented submissions.

Relevant construction-related qualification or technical understanding, enabling effective collaboration with project teams and accurate interpretation of technical details.
