Site Engineer – Portlaoise, Co. Laois
Permanent Position | Salary up to €70,000 DOE

Our client is a leading Main Contractor with three decades of consistent delivery across Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial and Residential projects. With a growing portfolio across the Midlands, they are now hiring an Engineer for a major project in Portlaoise. This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-quality development from early works through handover, while gaining exposure to a well-structured, collaborative project team.

Responsibilities

• Setting out, surveys and technical coordination

• Support daily site operations and sequencing

• Maintain strong Health & Safety standards across all works

• Carry out QA/QC checks, documentation and compliance

• Assist with materials management, RFI management and site records

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline

• 1–3+ years’ experience

• Strong understanding of construction processes and regulations

• Proactive, detail-focused and safety-driven

• Ability to work effectively within a structured site team
