Junior/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Westport, Co. Mayo
Permanent Position | Salary €45,000 – €60,000 DOE

Our client is a well-established Main Contractor with a strong regional presence and a proven track record across Commercial, Healthcare and Public Sector projects. They are known for developing junior talent and offering long-term, stable careers within a supportive and well-structured commercial team.

Due to ongoing growth in the West, they are now recruiting a Junior/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to work on live projects in the Westport area. This role offers hands-on exposure across all commercial functions with strong mentoring and clear progression.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with cost control and budget tracking

  • Support preparation of valuations and cost reports

  • Measurement and take-offs

  • Assist in subcontractor procurement and account management

  • Support variations and change management

  • Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

  • 1–4 years’ experience (graduate to intermediate level)

  • Strong numerical and organisational skills

  • Eagerness to learn and develop within a commercial team

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
