Healthcare Project
Permanent Position | Salary up to €65,000 DOE

Our client is a highly regarded Main Contractor with over 30 years’ experience delivering complex projects across Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Residential sectors. With strong financial stability, ISO-accredited systems and an excellent reputation for staff retention, they provide a structured environment where Quantity Surveyors can genuinely progress.

They are now seeking a strong Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a €50m Healthcare project in Galway, commencing next month with a 30-month programme. This is a high-profile development offering excellent exposure to cost management on a technically demanding project, working alongside a very experienced commercial team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with full commercial management of the project

  • Cost planning, budgeting and cost reporting

  • Preparation and submission of valuations

  • Management of subcontractor accounts

  • Procurement support and subcontractor package management

  • Variations, change control and final accounts

  • Close collaboration with site and project management teams

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline

  • 3–6+ years’ experience with a Main Contractor or PQS background

  • Experience on large-scale projects 

  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

  • Confident communicator with a proactive approach
