General Foreperson – Greater Dublin

Permanent | €75,000 DOE | Residential Project €300m

An impressive opportunity for an experienced General Foreperson to join a reputable residential developer delivering large scale housing projects. With a number of active sites and continued growth, the company is seeking to strengthen its team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall management of Health and Safety on site, ensuring compliance and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Maintain awareness of the project delivery programme, provide weekly reporting, and proactively intervene to prevent delays
  • Carry out site inspections, identifying issues promptly to maintain quality standards
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including completion of daily labour and materials allocation sheets
  • Oversee civil engineering and groundworks contractors
  • Establish and maintain site logistics, including designated vehicle and pedestrian routes
  • Manage works from foundations through to first and second fix stages, including external works such as finishes, paving, boundary walls, and landscaping
  • Coordinate movement of labour, machinery, and materials on and off-site
  • Coordinate subcontractors and service providers to ensure timely handover to the finishing foreman in line with programme requirements
  • Liaise with engineering teams to ensure accurate waste management records are maintained

Requirements:

  • Have a strong trades background
  • Knowledge of the latest building regulations and standards
