Site Manager with Engineering background – Drogheda/Dundalk                          

A leading opportunity for a Site Manager to play a key role in delivering a residential project. We are seeking a Site Manager with a strong engineering background to join a residential developer on a 60-unit project, with the role primarily based in the Dundalk/Drogheda area. The successful candidate will oversee management operations on site while ensuring high standards and project execution are maintained throughout.

Working closely alongside the management team, this position requires a hands on approach to support the smooth running of site activities and the successful delivery of the project to a high standard. Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the coordination, supervision, and delivery of all engineering activities in line with project requirements.
• Maintain control of all technical documentation and ensure information is communicated effectively across the project team.
• Support and promote the company’s Health & Safety culture by working closely with site teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure all construction activities are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, regulations, and industry standards.
• Assess and challenge technical and design proposals to identify practical and efficient engineering solutions.
• Oversee setting out operations to ensure quality, precision, and consistency are maintained throughout the project.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities, including reviewing work methods, schedules, and health & safety documentation.

Requirements:

• Relevant Third level degree in engineering/construction management
• Between 2-5 year’s experience in a similar role
• Setting out experience is required
• A knowledge of Microsoft and BIM software/AutoCAD
