  • Attend contractor handover meetings and ensure the effective transfer of relevant commercial information.
  • Participate in bi-weekly contract review meetings.
  • Monitor and update cash flow forecasts, cash reporting, and payment collection.
  • Identify commercial and contractual risks and prepare and maintain risk management plans.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider professional team.
  • Monitor project costs, valuations, variations, and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support procurement activities, including the preparation and management of subcontract and material orders.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and technologies.
  • Experience in measurement, valuation, and cost management.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all project stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of subcontractor procurement, material orders, and commercial negotiations.
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and interpreting commercial reports.
  • A sound understanding of standard and bespoke construction contracts.
  • A minimum of five years' relevant experience within the construction industry.

Right to Work Requirements

Candidates must have full working rights within the European Union. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship and work permit applications cannot be facilitated for these positions.
