Site Manager – New-Build Supermarket Project (County Kerry)

Location: County Kerry

An experienced Site Manager is required for a new-build supermarket development in County Kerry. This is a great opportunity to take a lead role on a high-profile retail project with a well-established main contractor.

We’re looking for someone with strong site management experience, excellent leadership skills, and a track record of delivering projects to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to spec

  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and direct labour on site

  • Maintain tight control over programme, quality assurance, and health & safety compliance

  • Work closely with the project team, including engineers, quantity surveyors, and design professionals

  • Chair site meetings and manage project documentation, reports, and updates

  • Drive productivity and ensure site standards meet the client’s expectations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Manager role on commercial or retail builds

  • Proven ability to manage all site activities from groundworks through to handover

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and site safety practices

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Trade or construction-related qualification desirable
