General Manager – Small Hotel / Guesthouse

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and welcoming guesthouse for a General Manager to lead day-to-day operations across accommodation and food & beverage.

This is a hands-on, varied role offering flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real impact within a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across rooms, housekeeping, and F&B

  • Lead, support and motivate a small team

  • Manage bookings, guest relations, and service standards

  • Handle rostering, stock control, and general administration

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and customer service

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or guesthouse/hotel management

  • Organised, reliable, and proactive with excellent people skills

  • Comfortable in a hands-on role with a focus on quality and efficiency

  • Strong communicator with a guest-first mindset
