Location: Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny

 

Project: Nursing Home project

 

Package: Salary up to €80k, car, 26 days holidays and other benefits

 

Set yourself apart as an expert Building Services Engineer due to the high-specification nature of the projects you’ll be working on.  You will be responsible for the full integration and commissioned of MEP systems on this project that will meet the Specified Design and statutory requirements, leading to seamless handover with the building systems performing to the Client’s satisfaction.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for MEP Integration and Project delivery
  • Ensuring the finalisation of Building Services Installation and Commissioning programmes are aligned and integrated with the  main Construction Programme.
  • Maintaining focus and recognition of key risks
  • Ensuring development and implementation of site specific ITP &, Commissioning  / Handover Plans are carried out with the MEP Contractors
  • Support the tender and award of MEP packages in accordance with the required Project Pre Construction and procurement strategy
  • Engage with the Utility companies
  • Ensure Co-Ordination and Builders Works Drawings are provided by the MEP Contractor’s for approval and Construction to meet the programme requirements
  • Involvement across all areas of MEP construction including Estimating, Pre- Construction and installation, Commissioning, Demonstration and Handover

 

To be successful for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Over 4 years working on M&E projects
