An award winning, industry leading, building and civil engineering contractor is recruiting a Planner for a role in Cork. This highly respected company has extensive experience in Ireland and as a part of many industry bodies, help shape the future of the construction industry. They are experts in many sectors including Healthcare, Commercial, Retail, Residential, Pharmaceutical and Infrastructure and strive for excellence in all aspects of their work.

What you will be doing:

• Project planning using MS Project, Primavera Software or Asta
• Project progress measuring and reporting
• Development of Project Controls procedures
• Preparation and presentation of programmes and schedules for use with bids and tenders
• Liaise with PM's, Site Engineers etc to gather updates and information for schedules

What you need to be successful:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related discipline
• Be fully conversant in Asta Power Project, Microsoft Project Package or Primavera Software
• Proven construction planning experience -3+ years as a Planner
• Previous experience on mid- large-scale projects required
• Excellent communication, presentation and people management skills
