Job Description

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and data centres.

Key Requirements

Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline (further qualifications are a distinct advantage)

Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, ideally with a main contractor

Proficient in project planning tools such as ASTA Powerproject or MS Project

Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects with a focus on programme delivery, budget control, and quality

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams

Proven experience across high-spec public and private sector projects (Pharma, Commercial, Industrial, Education, Healthcare, Data Centres)

Previous experience in delivering large-scale projects is highly desirable

Excellent knowledge of construction contracts and the ability to interpret technical documentation

Exceptional communication, analytical, organisational, and negotiation skills

Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in dynamic environments

Experience with structural steel and building services is a plus

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to project delivery

Ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to stakeholders, clients, and team members

Key Responsibilities

Lead project delivery from mobilisation through to handover and post-project evaluation

Define performance and delivery standards, ensuring alignment with client expectations

Ensure full compliance with company procedures and project specifications

Maintain detailed and organised project records, including key decisions and documentation

Engage regularly with clients, leading on KPI tracking and implementation

Provide progress reports and updates during client meetings

Plan and manage all project resources, including labour, materials, and subcontractors

Drive a high-performing project team to meet delivery milestones and quality benchmarks

Collaborate closely with the Site Safety Officer to ensure best-in-class health & safety practices are maintained
