Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a large-scale residential development in Douglas, Cork. The project includes a mix of houses and apartments within a thoughtfully designed community with green spaces and amenities. You will play a key role in managing costs, preparing budgets, and monitoring expenditure to ensure the financial success of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates

• Monitor and control project costs throughout the development lifecycle

• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

• Provide regular financial reports to senior management

Requirements:

• Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

• 3+ years’ experience in a QS role, preferably within residential construction

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
