Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a large-scale residential development in Douglas, Cork. The project includes a mix of houses and apartments within a thoughtfully designed community with green spaces and amenities. You will play a key role in managing costs, preparing budgets, and monitoring expenditure to ensure the financial success of the project.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates

Monitor and control project costs throughout the development lifecycle

Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders

Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

Provide regular financial reports to senior management
Requirements:
-
Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
-
3+ years’ experience in a QS role, preferably within residential construction
-
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management
-
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
