About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join our civil engineering team in Dublin. This role is key to ensuring the smooth delivery of materials, plant, and equipment across multiple active construction sites.

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, procurement teams, site supervisors, and suppliers to coordinate logistics activities, manage schedules, and resolve issues in real time to keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the delivery and movement of materials, plant, and equipment to and from construction sites

Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and transport providers to manage schedules and ensure timely deliveries

Monitor stock levels and assist with procurement planning

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, assets, and logistics documentation

Communicate with site teams to understand logistical needs and challenges

Support site access planning, delivery sequencing, and traffic management arrangements

Assist with compliance in line with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Track and report on logistics KPIs and contribute to process improvements

Requirements:

Previous experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the construction or civil engineering sector

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.); experience with logistics or construction software is a plus

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Knowledge of transport regulations, site safety, and inventory management

Full clean driver’s licence

Desirable:

Experience working with large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects

Familiarity with local suppliers and logistics networks in the Dublin area

Qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or construction-related discipline
