Site/Civil Engineer - Galway - Remote with Travel

Our client, a leading and well-established Project Management Consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced Engineer to join their team based in Galway. This permanent role will involve working across a varied portfolio of construction and engineering projects, supporting clients from project inception through to delivery.

Role Overview

Provide engineering support across a range of construction and infrastructure projects

Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants to ensure project objectives are achieved

Oversee site activities, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design, programme and quality standards

Monitor and enforce health & safety compliance on site

Carry out quality inspections and report on progress and performance

Provide technical input throughout all project phases, from pre-construction to completion

Candidate Requirements

Level 8 or 9 in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline

Chartered Member of Engineers Ireland or working towards it. 

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Site/Civil Engineer or similar engineering role

Strong technical, organisational and client-facing skills

Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
