As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a commercially astute and operationally strong Contracts Director to lead client relationships and drive performance across multiple live projects.

The Role

This is a senior leadership position combining contractual oversight, client management, and site operations leadership.

The successful candidate will play a central role in working directly with clients and main contractors while ensuring that site operations are commercially controlled, strategically aligned, and effectively delivered.

This role is ideally suited to a candidate from a specialist subcontractor background within M+E, Data Centres, or Industrial construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as primary senior point of contact for clients 

Build and maintain long-term client relationships

Manage dispute avoidance and resolution

Drive a collaborative, solutions-focused project approach

Site Operations Leadership

Work closely with Project Directors and Site Managers to ensure operational excellence

Ensure alignment between commercial controls and site delivery

Monitor programme, cost, risk, and performance metrics

Support project teams in resolving operational and contractual challenges

Candidate Profile

Senior commercial/operational experience within a specialist subcontractor

Strong background in M+E, Data Centres, or Industrial projects

Demonstrated experience managing both client relationships and site teams

Strong understanding of European construction contracts and practices

Proven negotiation and leadership capability

Experience working with international contractors advantageous

Fluent in English
