Job Description
The Quality Auditor is responsible for ensuring that construction projects, processes, materials, and workmanship comply with company quality standards, client requirements, regulatory obligations, and industry best practices. The role involves conducting audits across construction sites, reviewing documentation, identifying non-conformances, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality audits and inspections on construction sites.
- Verify compliance with project specifications, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Review quality documentation, inspection records, and material certifications.
- Identify quality issues and track corrective actions through to completion.
- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to project teams and management.
- Support ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with client, regulatory, and certification audits.
Requirements
- Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
- 3+ years' experience in construction quality, compliance, or auditing.
- Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and construction quality standards.
- Strong report writing, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
