Job Description

Civil Engineer |Dublin | €70,000 DOE

If you're a Civil Engineer who enjoys seeing your work take shape on site and you want to build more responsibility into your career as well as being part of prestigious projects, this is the kind of role worth looking at.

Join one of Ireland's leading civil engineering construction companies on a major residential development in Dublin, where you'll work alongside experienced engineers delivering high-quality infrastructure from the ground up. Our client invests heavily in its people, giving engineers the support, training, and opportunities to step into senior roles as they develop.

Rather than hiring from outside, the company is known for promoting from within. You'll be trusted with real responsibility, backed by experienced mentors, and given every opportunity to progress your career as your skills grow.

Benefits:

  • €70,000 DOE
  • Company vehicle or fuel allowance
  • Annual salary review
  • Performance-based bonus
  • Clear long-term career progression with ongoing training and internal promotion opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the site engineering team, you'll play a key role in delivering a residential project from start to finish. You'll work closely with senior engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered accurately, safely, and to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation and coordination of engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical reports for residential projects.
  • Carrying out engineering calculations, assessments, and technical checks to ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and project requirements.
  • Coordinating with clients, contractors, utility providers, and other project stakeholders to keep works progressing smoothly.
  • Maintaining project documentation, monitoring progress, and providing technical support and updates to the Senior Engineer.
  • Setting out drainage, ducting, paving, walls, stairs, and associated civil works—ensuring every element is accurately positioned before construction begins and providing the precision the project depends on.

Requirements:

  • A third level qualification in Engineering or equivalent
  • Confidence in setting out and interpreting drawings, with the ability to transfer designs accurately onto site and maintain high construction standards.

If you're looking for more than your next project—if you want to join a company where your development is taken seriously and your next promotion is genuinely achievable—we'd like to hear from you.
