Site Surveyor 

Are you an experienced Site Surveyor with strong setting-out and land surveying experience, looking for your next opportunity within the Irish construction industry?

We are seeking a Site Surveyor to join an established civil engineering construction team, combining setting-out engineering and land surveying responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining site control, transferring design information onto site, carrying out topographical and boundary surveys, and ensuring construction works are accurately positioned and completed in accordance with design specifications.

The role will involve working closely with Site Engineers, Project Managers, contractors and subcontractors throughout the construction process. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate setting-out, surveying and as-built information is maintained across the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain site grids, control points and benchmarks.
  • Set out foundations, structures, roads, drainage and utilities from drawings.
  • Carry out topographical, boundary and as-built surveys.
  • Operate Total Stations, GPS/GNSS and digital/robotic levels, producing accurate survey data and drawings.
  • Check completed works against design and liaise with engineers and contractors to resolve surveying issues.

Requirements:

  • A relevant third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline
