Tender Planner – Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath

Are you a Planner with strong experience in tendering and pre-construction?

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established main contractor based in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath, for an experienced Tender Planner / Pre-Construction Planning Engineer.

This is not a traditional live-project planning role. The key focus will be on developing detailed, realistic and competitive programmes for tender submissions, working closely with the Estimating and Pre-Construction teams.

You’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping construction methodology, sequencing and programme strategy before projects move into delivery.

The Role

• Develop detailed tender and bid programmes
• Work closely with Estimating and Pre-Construction teams
• Translate construction methodology into achievable programmes
• Develop sequencing, durations, milestones and critical paths
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Support the preparation of competitive tender submissions
• Provide planning input into construction methodology and delivery strategy

We're looking for:

• Experience in construction planning/programming
• Proven experience developing tender / bid programmes
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and methodology
• Experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Ability to develop detailed programmes and identify critical paths
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Main contractor experience
