Health, Safety & Sustainability Manager - Sligo

Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will provide practical HSE support, ensure compliance with company standards and legislation, and contribute to the safe and successful delivery of projects across Ireland.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide Health, Safety and Environmental advice and support to project delivery teams and stakeholders across 2-4 projects. 
• Attend relevant site meetings including start up meetings, project meetings and supply chain meetings.
• Review of contractor RAMS, SPAs, supporting plans, permits and training records.
• Manage training needs of the project team for Health, Safety and including delivery of courses where appropriate.
• Health, Safety and Environmental advice to the site stakeholders.
• Incident reporting and investigation.

You will need:

• A minimum of a level 7 Degree in Occupational Health & Safety
• Internal Auditor Awareness of lifting operations, Temporary Works, PSDP & PSCS
• 5 years’ + experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally gained within the construction  industry
• The ability to work on large-scale, high headcount construction sites
• Understanding of quality and environmental management principles
• Excellent communication skills
