Site Manager – Oranmore, Co. Galway | €70k–€100k + Vehicle

4‑Year Project | Utilities & Groundworks (Residential)

Our client, a leading main contractor, is seeking an experienced Utilities & Groundworks Site Manager for a major residential development in Oranmore, Co. Galway. This is a long-term, 4‑year project delivering 200+ high-quality residential units, including extensive groundworks, utilities installation and timber frame construction.

Role Overview

You will oversee all utilities and groundworks activities on site, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage daily operations, and maintain strong compliance with health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise groundworks, utilities and timber frame installation on a busy residential site
• Oversee subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to specification
• Coordinate daily site activities and support the wider project team
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Liaise with Uisce Éireann and ensure all water/utilities works meet required standards
• Maintain accurate site records, reporting and documentation
• Drive quality control across all phases of the project

Requirements

• Proven residential experience in groundworks, utilities and timber frame construction
• Uisce Éireann (Irish Water) experience is essential
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice
• Ability to manage subcontractors and lead site teams effectively
• Full driving licence

• Salary: €70,000 – €100,000 DOE
