We are an established construction contractor delivering projects across Europe, specialising in internal fit-out, ceilings and partitions.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our team in Finland.

The successful candidate will be proactive, well organised and confident working independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Candidates must be eligible to work in Finland.

The Role: Health & Safety Advisor

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Health & Safety advice and support to employees, subcontractors and site teams.
• Ensure company H&S policies and procedures are implemented on site.
• Prepare and review RAMS, risk assessments, inductions and Safe Systems of Work.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety reviews.
• Deliver site inductions and Toolbox Talks.
• Monitor plant, equipment and training compliance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Maintain site safety records, emergency plans and project Safety Files.
• Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements

• Recognised Health & Safety / EHS qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a construction H&S Advisor or Safety Officer role.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong communication, organisational and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and reporting systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
