An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Setting Out Engineer to join a high-profile retail development project in Dunboyne, Co. Meath. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to play a key part in a dynamic construction project.

The Role:
As a Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate setting out and leveling of the site in line with project specifications and plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform setting out duties using a range of equipment, including total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
• Verify dimensions and alignments, ensuring accuracy in accordance with engineering drawings.
• Liaise with the Site/Project Manager and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflows.
• Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the construction phases.
• Keep accurate records of all measurements and project progress.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar setting out role on construction projects.
• Proficiency with surveying equipment and software.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of current health and safety regulations.
