Our client is a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm with a strong focus on renewable energy, water supply, wastewater treatment, and the delivery of planning and environmental services. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections and provide detailed reports.
- Prepare and review comprehensive design calculations and technical documentation.
- Develop contract specifications and construction drawings.
- Collaborate closely with REVIT and CAD technicians to ensure drawings accurately represent design intent.
- Contribute effectively to daily project team activities and coordination.
- Engage in direct communication and attend meetings with clients.
- Adhere to and implement the company’s ISO quality procedures and standards.
- Support the preparation of tender documents for new business opportunities.
Person Specification:
- Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Level 9 Master’s Degree is advantageous).
- Proven experience in civil and structural design for buildings.
- Experience in the renewable energy sector is a distinct advantage.
- Effective team player with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
- Capable of managing workload to meet tight project deadlines.
- Proficient in structural design software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Additional proficiency in MicroStation, Rebar, MicroDrainage, or other drainage and structural design tools is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
