Permanent Position

Solar Fitouts (Commercial)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager with a strong background in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to lead the delivery of large-scale commercial solar projects. This role involves full lifecycle project management—from planning and coordination to execution and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution

Develop comprehensive project plans including schedules, budgets, and resource needs

Manage project scope to ensure timely and on-budget delivery

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies

Provide regular project updates and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders

Ensure effective coordination among cross-functional teams

Site Assessment and Feasibility

Conduct site visits to evaluate land suitability for solar development

Perform feasibility studies to determine the technical and financial viability of projects

Budgeting and Resource Management

Prepare and oversee project budgets

Allocate and manage resources to meet project goals

Identify cost-saving opportunities and minimize risk exposure

Quality Assurance and Handover

Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with technical specifications

Implement quality control processes and monitor construction progress

Prepare detailed handover documentation and ensure a smooth transition to the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team

Qualifications and Skills:

Soft Skills:

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project or equivalent)

Knowledge of solar energy systems and relevant engineering principles

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field preferred)

3–5 years of project management experience, ideally in the renewable energy sector
