M+E Engineer - Meath
We are currently recruiting Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Resident Engineers at multiple experience levels to join our expanding Construction Supervision Team. These roles are part of the delivery of a major Water and Wastewater infrastructure programme commissioned by Uisce Éireann.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) works on-site.
Maintain accurate records, site documentation, and measurements.
Collaborate closely with the Project Team and Employer’s Representative.
Ensure all MEICA works comply with project specifications and requirements.
Assess contractor claims, payment applications, and performance against KPIs.
Review RAMS, technical submissions, and provide detailed feedback.
Evaluate design proposals and equipment specifications for compliance.
Monitor and support commissioning activities including process proving and testing.
Contribute to the delivery of high safety and quality standards on-site.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications:
Degree-qualified (Level 8 or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
Experience:
Assistant Resident Engineer: Some site or project-based experience (entry to junior level).
Resident Engineer (M&E): Minimum 4 years of experience supervising MEICA works.
Senior Resident Engineer (M&E): 7–10 years of experience on large-scale engineering projects, ideally in the water sector.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Solid understanding of water/wastewater treatment infrastructure and capital delivery frameworks.
Experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of MEICA systems.
Proficient in reviewing and interpreting P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control philosophies.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
Familiarity with construction contracts, including FIDIC and Public Works contracts (desirable).
Skilled in Quality Assurance systems, report writing, and site record management.
Competency with Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools.
Other Requirements:
Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills.
Full, clean driving licence.
