Civil Engineer – Tallaght, Co. Dublin

An expanding civil engineering and utilities contractor with expertise across infrastructure, utilities, traffic management, environmental services and public lighting projects is seeking a Civil Engineer for an office-based role in Cookstown, Tallaght. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer who wants to develop their technical expertise in a professional environment while contributing to essential public and private sector projects.

While the role is office-based, occasional site visits will be required. Experience with electrical or utility projects will be viewed as a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare civil infrastructure designs, drawings, reports and specifications

• Carry out technical assessments, design calculations and reviews

• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects

• Conduct site inspections when required and provide technical support to site teams

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification)

• Proven experience in civil engineering design and project delivery

• Knowledge of utilities, drainage, structural or road design desirable

• Competent in CAD and other relevant engineering software

• Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills
