Quantity Surveyor
Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to join an established civil engineering contractor on a major project in Kerry?
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a busy civil engineering site in Kerry. The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial and site teams, taking responsibility for the commercial management of the project from procurement through to final account.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects to join an established contractor, with long-term opportunities and career progression available.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of the project from procurement through to final account.
- Prepare valuations, cost reports, forecasts and variations, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, accounts and commercial performance.
- Monitor project costs, quantities and progress, identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, subcontractors and clients to ensure the project is delivered within budget and in line with contractual requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline.
- Experience working on civil projects, e.g. earthworks, roadworks, drainage, utilities and structures
- Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts
