Project HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) Advisor

Location: Gormanston, Meath

In this role you will be joining an award-winning, ISO 45001:2018 accredited main contractor that is recognised as a leader in Health and Safety.

You will need:

A third level qualification in Health and Safety.
3+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally gained within the construction industry.
The ability to work on large-scale, high headcount construction sites.
Understanding of quality and environmental management principles.
Excellent communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

To monitor safety conditions and works with the project teams to ensure consistent enforcement of the internal safety management systems.
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
Complete weekly site inspections and monthly site audits.
Develop and complete internal training.
Support the project teams with regard to the day to day running of the EHS management system.
Complete regular EHS meetings with subcontractors and the site team.
Set Health and Safety KPIs, monitor performance and trends, and report to senior management.
