Safety Officer – Wexford

Immediate Start

Join a Safe-T-Certified / ISO 45001 accredited company with an outstanding safety record on a Hospital project in Wexford Town.

In this position, you will be responsible for driving health and safety standards, ensuring full compliance with EHS legislation and navigating the complex operational environment of a live environment.

Key Responsibilities

Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct daily EHS inspections across active construction zones.

Compliance and Standards: Ensure strict compliance with all construction regulations and operational procedures.

Risk Management: Review and approve RAMS, SOP’s and PTW applications.

Incident Investigations: Lead analysis for any near-misses, incidents or accidents.

Induction and Training: Toolbox talks, EHS induction and targeted staff briefings.

Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent

IOSH Membership, safe pass and CSCS

3 Years of EHS experience gained within the construction industry

Strong understanding of Irish EHS legislation
