An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of Ireland’s leading fit-out construction companies, based in Dublin,

This established contractor has an impressive portfolio of construction and fit-out projects, working with a diverse range of leading international and indigenous Irish organisations. The business has built its reputation on delivering high-quality projects while investing heavily in the development and progression of its people.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to take greater ownership of commercial performance, work closely with senior stakeholders and progress their career within a supportive and progressive organisation.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects, ensuring effective cost control, contract administration and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing contract administration and commercial processes, including change management and maintaining accurate project registers.
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly Cost Value Reports (CVRs), providing clear analysis and commercial insight to senior management.
  • Taking an active role in the management and monitoring of project budgets, cost plans and financial forecasts.
  • Supporting the preparation and review of feasibility studies and project cost plans.
  • Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Working closely with project management, clients, subcontractors and other key stakeholders to ensure strong commercial outcomes.
  • Supporting the successful financial delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion.

What We’re Looking For

  • A 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a relevant equivalent qualification.
  • 2+ years’ experience within a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within construction or fit-out.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills with a good understanding of project cost control.
  • Experience with contract administration, change management and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, commercially focused approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
